A lovely couple came to our sign shop, asking if we could prepare church signs. Since our team has done plenty of signs for churches, we were happy to say yes. During our conversation, we learned that it would be an indoor sign they needed to have fabricated and packed. They planned to take it to their congregation in Africa, where congregants would assist with the installation. Could we do it? You bet! Here’s how.

Experts in the Design, Production, and Installation of Outdoor and Indoor Signs for Churches

All Star Signs has a long track record of assisting religious institutions with their signage. A case in point is the Westminster Seminary California, which needed a panel sign for its chapel. For the St John Garabed Armenian Church, our shop prepared donor recognition wall plaques. Besides these projects, we routinely fabricate banners for church picnics, marquees, and other indoor and outdoor signs for churches in and around San Diego County.

Behind the Construction of a Stunning Church Sign

For this project, our team did not begin with a panel. In a departure from our usual way of doing things, we only had the measurements of the wall space where the sign pieces would be mounted. Therefore, each style element has to be perfectly sized and designed to fit the overseas panel and create a complete presentation once mounted.

  • Signs For Churches3D letters. At the top of the sign, there were to be three-dimensional letters. We flat-cut them from half-inch-thick clear acrylic that we then overlaid with brushed aluminum gold faces. These were designed with pin mounts.
  • Logo. The symbol the client requested is a globe. We made it using half-inch thick white acrylic, which we imprinted directly with an image of the world. Our technicians also designed this element for a pin mount.
  • Panel-mounted 3D letters. Below the globe, the client envisioned a scripture reference that we would mount on a board. For this part of the project, we began with a half-inch-thick piece of clear acrylic with polished edges. Next, we made the half-inch thick clear acrylic letters covered with brushed aluminum gold faces. The congregants would install this portion of the sign with six standoffs.

This church signage setup was a great project to be a part of. It is particularly rewarding to know that the pieces would be installed so far away in an area where the signage could not have been produced in this way.

Does Your Congregation Need Church Signage?

As proven, we can make sign elements for those congregations that want to mount them independently. In this way, we can create signs for churches nationally and internationally. Of course, if you are within San Diego County, we would also love to offer our installation services.

We serve congregations, religious schools and camps, as well as all types of venues in and around San Diego, Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, Fallbrook, Temecula, and Rancho Bernardo, as well as many more cities and towns. Call us today to request a quote!
